Inheritance

Don’t miss the eagerly anticipated epic new fantasy from Christopher Paolini—Murtagh, coming 11.7.23!

The astonishing, masterful conclusion to the Inheritance Cycle, perfect for fans of Lord of the Rings! The New York Times bestselling series has sold over 40 million copies and is an international fantasy sensation.

"Christopher Paolini is a true rarity." —The Washington Post

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must defeat Galbatorix. There will be no second chances. The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

  • The best series I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading

I remember watching the movie as a kid and loving it and now that I’m grown. Finally reading the entire series and knowing these characters as they were meant to be. It’s been the best series I’ve ever read and I look forward to many more tales in the land of Alagaësia!!

  • Started good....then it went south!!

The first 2 books were great! The third started out good but at some point it felt like the author decided to make it 4 books and that is where the slow plodding redundant chapters began. This series did not need 4 books. The fourth was extended with 10 to 20 pages sometimes spent describing a hallway or a conversation that could have easily been done in 1 or 2 pages. The added verbiage did not add to the story or character Developement in my opinion.
