Diary of a Young Comic

Produced by Lorne Michaels' as a "Saturday Night Live" pre-empt TV movie in 1979, this insider classic stars Richard Lewis. A time capsule of the L.A. comedy scene in the 1970s, "Diary of a Young Comic" casts Lewis as a fictionalized version of himself— a young New York comic who comes out to Los Angeles to seek his fame and fortune. Guest stars include Dom DeLuise, Geroge Jessel, Stacy Keach&Bill Macy.
