Mariusz Kwiecien in the title role of the world’s most notorious lover leads a starry lineup of refined Mozartians in Michael Grandage’s elegant 2011 production. Luca Pisaroni sings Leporello, Giovanni’s servant who both admires and hates his master. Marina Rebeka as Donna Anna, Barbara Frittoli as Donna Elvira, and Mojca Erdmann as Zerlina are the trio of women seduced by Giovanni. Ramón Vargas plays Don Ottavio, Anna’s fiancé, Joshua Bloom as Masetto and Štefan Kocán as the Commendatore round the cast. Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi leads the orchestra and plays harpsichord continuo.

Paul Simon's Graceland album is a revolutionary fusion of Western and South African music. Simon embraced the music of a troubled nation and put it on a world stage. In 1987, during his tour of Zimbabwe, "Graceland: The African Concert” was filmed. It features guest artists like Ladysmith Black Mambazo as well as several songs that aren't included on the original record, like "Township Jive."

In October 1987 after many months on the road, it was in the elevated surroundings of the hillside open air theatre at Lycabettus overlooking Athens that the So Tour came to a climatic close. The three nights were filmed in what was the first-ever Peter Gabriel concert to be committed to film. The viewer is placed right in the heart of the action all the way, from the band’s synchronised choreography on opening number This Is The Picture right through to the skin-pricking closer Biko.
