Here she is, beauties: The Electric Acid Surfboard Test 2019, starring The Queen, 7x World Champ, and Stab's Surfer of the Year - Miss Stephanie Louise Gilmore. This year's deep-dive down the alternative surfboard rabbit hole was filmed on the subtropical right points of Mozambique, directed by Stab's Editor in Chief, Ashton Goggans and Dylan Roberts, and shot by Stab's dangerous arsenal of lensmen; Dylan Roberts, Tom Jennings, and Sam Moody, with Alan Van Gysen capturing all the still life beauty along the way. “20 seconds of joy” is the culmination of five years of drama, emotion, tragedy and euphoria, tied to the life of B.A.S.E. jumper and freeskiing legend Karina Hollekim. The 31-year-old Norwegian is only recently on her feet again after a near-death experience at the 2006 Red Bull Vertigo. The film, “20 seconds of joy” captures all the build-up, the horror and the heartbreak of Karina’s dice with death, along with a liberal sprinkling of the trials and tribulations she has encountered through her spectacular young life.

Kepa and later Clive give us insight into an alternative life dedicated to the sea, Carlos and Francois show us the environmental problems threatening the sanity of our oceans. And there are Garrett and Guillaume - both very different from another – but both state: Everything is possible if you are willing to take life into your own hands. For all of these characters surfing is a pervading lifestyle. All sorts of ocean lovers all over Europe have their eyes on a very slim stretch of land and water. 2019 International North West 200

Seven winners from seven races. That's the measure of the 2019 fonaCAB International North West 200 in association with Nicholl Oils. It’s been described as ‘one of road racing’s greatest ever feats. 2019 saw Peter Hickman totally dominate the UGP action by blitzing the lap record and taking the win in every race he contested. With an almost incredible lap of over 136mph Peter restored the Ulster Grand Prix’s title of fastest road race in the world by breaking his own Isle of Man TT lap record. Dean Harrison, Conor Cummins, Lee Johnston, Michael Dunlop all tried to take the fight to the flying Lincolnshire rider, but ultimately the best wasn’t good enough to tackle Hickman who was on the form of his life. Lapping the historic 7.4-mile Dundrod Course at an average of 136.415mph further cements Peter’s growing claim to a place in road racing’s history books – and makes for an incredible official review. Jonas Bevacqua (1977-2011), co-founder of LRG, used 47 and 1947 since LRG’s inception as a tribute to his mother, Helen. Jonas often said that without the support of his family, and in particular his mother, LRG would never have come into fruition. As LRG grew and time progressed, 1947 grew to become a symbol of family, of love, and of dedication to something greater than one’s self. 1947 is our second full-length skate video, named in honor of Jonas and his family, and in recognition of the unity of our team and the importance of being part of something greater. From the skateboarders to the people behind the scenes supporting the video and the brand, LRG remains a family operation.
