A Truly Perfect Gentleman

A Truly Perfect Gentleman

Grey Dorning, Earl of Casriel, must marry well and soon. He has five brothers whom he must assist to get a start in life, an entire estate going ragged around the edges, and nothing he’s done to put the earldom’s finances to rights has worked. He needs to wed an agreeable heiress looking for a title, a lady who will be content to marry a man more renowned for his manners than his fortune.

Beatitude, the widowed Countess of Canmore, wants a friendly, temporary liaison with a charming man who won’t curtail her hard-won freedom. She’s not wealthy, but she has earned her independence and intends to guard it well. Grey knows what he needs, Addy knows what she wants, so why can’t they stop thinking about each other?

Reviews
  • Duty vs. love

Grace Burrowes writes stories that really make me feel I could step right into that world! The struggle Grey has trying to resign himself to his duty, Addy’s resignation to what she knows will be - made me glad I don’t have to deal with that kind of desperation! But it makes the HEA so satisfying!

  • Too many characters

I love the authors voice so the book is worth reading. But too often I found myself bored because the story strayed from Addy and Grey!
