I love this series. It is engaging and heartwarming. And through their trials, believable that their love WILL last. I dislike reading a romance novel when at the end you are in disbelief of any lasting love. Thank you for a thoroughly diverting novel.

I am at page 196 of almost 800 pages and this is as far as I can get. This is awful. It is scattered and jumbled and makes no sense what-so-ever. Perhaps one must start at the first book and read them in order instead of thinking the story is a stand-alone. However, neither of these characters is memorable. I can’t remember their names or keep the family straight, This is just not interesting enough to try to slog through another chapter hoping it gets better. Why would a strong, independent woman plan to fake her own death and run away? She basically gave up. Real people don’t succumb to bullies’ tactics. This is lame.

I love this series. The women are strong and smart and the men smart enough to know it. The story line is complex enough to keep you guessing. I paced myself because I didn’t want it to end… but it did. Now I have to wait for next year.

I’ve enjoyed the entire series Rogues to Riches, but this is definitely my favorite so far - mostly because I find Stephen to be a complicated and intriguing character. The whole story is filled with twists and turns; I couldn’t put it down!
